Bjarte heads the TFT initiative in Norway. He is Chief Communications Officer at Akershus University Hospital and Member of the management committee. Previously, he was CEO of Oslo Cancer Cluster, a nonprofit set up to accelerate the development of new cancer medication. Formerly, he was a political adviser in Parliament for the Conservative Party and then moved to Merck & Co in external affairs. He was Director of Strategy for the Southern Norway Regional Health authority, and headed the national healthcare practice for Ernst & Young Advisory.
Bjarte holds an Executive MBA in Strategy from NHH and a Master's in Management from BI. He is an elected politician in Bærum, and a Member of the city council and school board since 2011. Bjarte is a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader.
